Just because the world appears unsafe and unpredictable, does not mean that consequently, we cannot navigate these troubled times.
We have these navigational tools.
- Faith
- Hope
- Courage
- Serenity
- Harmony
- Love
- Peace
Unlike toilet paper and hand sanitizer, these tools may not be purchased online and delivered to our doorstep. They are manufactured on our own premises.
The world is a dangerous place. At times, some places are more dangerous than others. Sometimes our own circumstances are more challenging than others.
The question is now, as it has always been – how will we respond to our situations? How do we navigate the waters of our lives?
We can respond from a place of fear and/or anger. It’s primal. It’s natural.
Of course, then we are the victims of this negativity. Sustained fear and anger will invariably lead to frustration and despair. Not a desirable destination.
Instead, I would encourage us to take a deep breath. Release the fear and anger. Dig into the toolbox that is located within. Respond from a place of faith…hope…courage… serenity…harmony…love…peace. Respond from a place of joy.
The world will be what it is – probably what it always has been.
We have always had the choice of our personal response.
Our response will steer our course.
It’s time to be the navigator of your life.
What path do you wish to travel?
It’s time to take a deep breath and decide.
